All India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen candidate Akbaruddin Owaisi won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 95341 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Shahejadi Sayyad stood second with total 15078 votes. She lost by 80263 votes.
